Christine Lee sculptor
After training at St Martin's School of Art in 1978, Christine went on to study drawing and painting with Cecil Collins.
Most of her recent art work is about relationships, with many pieces being cast in bronze, drawing and painting is an essential part of her creativity.
Larger work is constructed from sheet metal or wood. In 2014 Compassion was placed in Exeter Cathedral. It now stands in St James Church Exeter.
In 1996 Christine created the remarkable Commemorative Fountain outside the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford -upon-Avon for the 800th Anniversary,
which was inaugurated by H.M. The Queen.
