Christine Lee is one of Britains outstanding figurative sculptors. Probably her best known work is the remarkable sixteen foot high fountain which stands in front of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon, and which was inaugaurated by Her Majesty the Queen in 1996.
She works in many and varied materials. Everything she touches has a sense of daring originality, generosity of spirit and extraordinary integrity.
